Today I reached 50 items in my shop, still no sale yet but I am patient. My goal is to reach 150 items. If I havent sold a thing by then yet, then I will stop with my Etsy shop. Maybe I will develop an online shop on my own website for practicing reasons o my developing skills.
This week I worked on 7 colorful smart phone cases. Crochet phone cases are very easy and also fast. Where I work on a maret bag for 1 to 3days, a phone is ready within an hour.
You can find all the crochet phone cases in the phonecase section from my shop.

Three Colored Marketbag
I was again working on a round market bag which can also be used as a beach bag or a tote. I sticked to a same pattern of the last marketbag I have been working on but I changed colors. For this bag I used the colors Oxford Blue, Green and Yellow and I used acrylic yarn to create the bag.
I placed this bag in my shop where its available for purchase and where you can find more pictures. The bag is approx 48cm x 38cm or 18.8" x 14.9" exclusive the length of the strap Strap is 60cm or 23.6" all the way.
I really like how this bag in other colors turned out.

Crochet Red Stars
I crochet little flowers and starting to get the hang of creating more appliques. I created a bunch of stars as well.
These cute, tiny crochet star appliques on your left are 7 cm or 2,75" in size and the used color for this project is red. These stars were made with acrylic yarn.

It's time for a new blog message. I worked on 1 big and 2 little crochet projects.
I started working on making applique projects yesterday. I have lots of yarn in all sorts of colors , so I can easily combine colors together and I did that this time by creating these three cute little pink flowers shown on your left.
The size of each flower is 2" or 5 cm and they are made with acrylic yarn.
I placed them in my shop.

Its perfect for runny errands, at the mall, or grocery store or just as a market bag.
This bag isn't lined.
Bag is approx 30 cm x 31.5 cm or 11.8" x 12.4" Strap is 89 cm or 35" all the way.

Lavender
Two weeks ago, on february 6th, I bought some soil and lavender seed. I bought it for very cheap, 1 euro, I bought two of those propagator kits.
The botanical name for my chosen variation is Lavendula Angustifolia and today I finally planted the seeds in the soil. This kit came with instructions. The sowing period is between February and May, so I am just in time for some fullgrown lavender flowers in the summer.
Today I placed the soil for 90% into the basket, placed the seeds inside and I covered the seeds with the rest of the soil in the basket. I watered the soil slightly after pressing it down and I covered it with the plastic cover.
Lavender grows best at normal room-temperature on the widows sill. This plant doesn't mind growing in full sun light.
The plastic cover will be removed when the plants are about 1 inch high and I will transplant these plants into a pot when they are like 2 inched high or you can plant them just in the garden.
If you want lavender for kitchen use, the sowing procedure is like written above but in this use 1/3 part of the added seeds. Let it grow till the plants are high enough. After use pulverize the compost and you can sow again.
When growing lavender inside, make sure that the plants receive plenty of light and warm temperatures. Water only when the plants are significantly dry.
This is how it looks like after following the instructions. I have 2 baskets covered with plastic and inside I have soil covering up the seeds.
The seeds will take 2 weeks to 1 month to sprout.... so...To be continued on March 20th or earlier I hope....
Update on March 8th: I have no real update yet but the soil does smell realllly good already.

Kitchen Herbs
Seeds of Parsley is inside of the blue bucket on the left.
Seeds of Oregano is inside of the yellow bucket in the middle.
Seeds of Chives is inside of the pink bucket in the right.
I filled the buckets with 90% of the delivered soil and moistened the buckets with water. I placed the seeds inside and covered it up with the rest of the soil, pressing the soil down gently. The germination time is 10-20 days at room temperature. I will update this post when there is something to see.
Update on February 16th: It has been exacly 10 days since I bought these three buckets and since today there is new growth to see in all three buckets.
Its hardly to see but those tiny little dots are the growing herbs.
Update on February 20th: It has been 2 weeks now since I planted the seeds. Parsley in the blue bucket on the left is growing like weed now.
Oregano in the yellow bucket in the middle stays quiet. If you look carefully only two little plants are visible.
Chives in the pink bucket in the right is coming out well. It smells like onions already... and I didnt think that true when I bought these buckets cause I dont like the smell of onions in my kitchen/living room.
Update on March 20th: It has been a month since my last update and as you can see, the herbs has growns.
Parsley in the blue bucket on the left turned into a little herb bush.
Oregano in the yellow bucket in the middle is still behind but I have four little plants growing inside the yellow bucket at the moment.
Chives in the pink bucket in the right is growing great and fortunatelly the smell of onions is less overwhelming. My care routine so far isgie the plants water everyweek and I have placed the buckets on a location where they catch 8 hours of sunlight
